ATHLETIC SUCCESSES:
Doug played on four NCAA Championship teams at UCLA, with the team going undefeated during two of those seasons. Individually, he was a three-time All-America selection. After college, he joined the U.S. National Volleyball Team from 1985-1988 and again from 1991-1992, winning the World Cup in 1985, World Championship in 1986 and Pan American Games in 1987. He also medalled in both of his Olympic appearances, taking the Gold in 1988 and Bronze in 1992. In addition to his spot on the U.S. National Team, he played four seasons in the Italian Indoor Professional League and played for seven years on the Professional 4-man Beach Volleyball circuit.
CAREER PATH:
Since graduating from UCLA in 1984, Doug has held various positions, including: commercial real Estate broker, sporting goods and apparel sales and sales management for high-end business computer servers and workstations. He is currently the Vice President of Sales at Pinnacle Technologies.
