ATHLETIC SUCCESSES:
Jimmy is the 1999 World Champion in judo, and has held the sport's No. 1 ranking. He has won more gold medals in international competition than any other American in the history of the sport. He competed in the Olympic Games in 1992, 1996, and 2000, capturing the bronze medal in Atlanta in 1996. Jimmy is also a two-time gold medalist at the Pan American Games, a five-time U.S. National champion, and was a five-time winner of the USOC's Male Athlete of the Year for Judo. As a student at Brown University, he was selected to the All-Ivy Team for wrestling in 1990 and 1993, and in 1993 he was and All-Ivy Scholastic Athlete Award Recipient.
CAREER PATH:
After retiring from competitive Judo following the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Jimmy joined Monster as the company's first-ever Olympian employee. He currently manages the Olympic sponsorship within the Non-Traditional Marketing Group.
